BESSE-EN-OISAN, FRANCE
Image Number 23
The tiny village of Besse en Oisan clings to the mountains on the French Italian border between Grenoble and Briancon. Although the village probably has fewer than 300 inhabitants, Its "home page" on the internet carries the ronde:
(The most beautiful village in the world, is the one of our song. The most beautiful of all the villages in France is the one in which I spent my youth.)
