The Kruger National Park covers nearly 2 million hectares and is unrivalled in South Africa in terms of its size and the diversity of its life forms.  The park is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians - , 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals.  

TECHNICAL NOTES

The image at the top (257) was taken with a hand-held Phase One 645 Camera at ISO 100. Exposure of 1/320th of a second and aperture F7.1.   

The image at the bottom (258) was taken with a hand-held Phase One 645 Camera at ISO 400. Exposure of 1/250th of a second and aperture F18.    

Both images were captured on a Phase One IQ180 80 megapixel digital back.   300 mm Mamiya lens.
