GYEONGBOKGUNG PALACE

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA

IMAGE NUMBER 939

Gyeongbokgung Palace is widely considered among the finest royal palaces in Seoul, with a history dating back to the 14th-century Joseon dynasty.   Visitors to the palace may take advantage of a "hanbok" (traditional Korean attire) rental service and dress up like Joseon-era royalty.   The phoney aristocracy is one of the most intriguing features of the palace.
