COTI-CHIAVARI

Coti-Chiavari is a small village located on the southern bank of the Gulf of Ajaccio, in Corse-du-Sud, on the peninsula of Capu di Muru. It offers some of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica and is surrounded by mountains and forests. Like so many small villages in France, the town hall abuts the war memorial. The town hall and memorial in Coti-Chiavare are poignant.

The image was taken with a tripod-mounted Phase One 645XF Camera at ISO 50. Exposure of 1/6th of a second and an aperture of f16. Schneider Kreuznach 45 mm lens with leaf shutter. The image was captured on a Phase One IQ3 100 megapixel digital back.
