ALFRED NICHOLAS BOATHOUSE
DANDENONG RANGES, VICTORIA
IMAGE NUMBER 1283
The Alfred Nicholas Garden, gifted to the people of Victoria by the founder of the Aspro fortune, is one of the jewels of the Dandenong ranges. The centrepiece is an idyllic lake with a tiny picturesque boathouse and charming pedestrian bridges. The boathouse has become an icon of the Dandenong Ranges and is rarely photographed under such ideal conditions.
This image was one of a series of images commissioned from Atticus Webb by the Amber Property Group for the Geoff Brady Collection of unique Victorian landscapes in 2020. The collection was compiled to mark the opening of the Sebel Hotel in Ringwood in March 2021. The images feature throughout the hotel.
